When I Started:
Jan, 2008
How I Started:
I have primarily done running, biking, swimming, and weight training. I decided to focus on bodysculpting in 1/08 after my carpel tunnel problems were finally resolved with acupuncture. It took 3 years to fix. Previously, my wrist pain prevented significant weight training.
Why I Love It:
I am thrilled to see that even an older guy can make tremendous progress. I enjoy watching my body sculpting improvements. I have always been in great shape. The body building focus is fun and gives my energy a place to focus.
How I Stay Motivated:
I have always been competitive in sports and at work. I try to improve something in my life every week.
BB Accomplishments:
So far, it is getting all my parts in excellent condition to continue to improve. At 55 yrs old, it takes more time and effort than it used to. I am continuing to work thru some chronic shoulder and back issues, but am making progress.

Interesting point about the breathing techique used when running to train your rib cage muscles. Iam kind of nervous to give that a try. But I will.

Thanks for the comment on my blog Jeff. Yeah I can still squat but I dont like to work too hard on it becasue Building pure leg mass reduces you kicking speed and power. I do squat heavy sometimes but usually do more explosive and sport related leg exercises.

Oh man! I'm right with ya. I remember back when I graduated from high school I was only 135, and at 6' tall... Talk about a walking skeleton! A few years later I married an Italian woman, and well there came that 20 pounds!

You must be ripped Jeffrey, 6'0" at 155lbs? Lots of respect coming your way on fighting the good fight in your 50's. Keep charging. :)
