those two things will certainly beef up the back. Sounds like it's going well. I am doing good...training is good. I am just mainting as much size as I can now...since I am not competing anymore I don't need to carry almost 300lbs in the offseason. So...I run about 240-250ish and am good there.

When I was 280-285 it was just to big and then to come down for a show at 247 - 250...at 5'9 that was pretty big. I am comfortable with my weight now and not looking to make it pro anymore...those days are long gone and I am good with it. I still get a couple calls a year asking me to jump back in and offers, but just not there anymore! It's all good!

training is good...I am a GM of a health club in GA and love it. I am not going to compete so I keep my weight around 230-235. Any heavier and I gete to big for comfort.

Hey man...no more competing for me. The shoulder is to torn up and since my little girl passed away....just don't have the desire. Leaving it for the young guys. I will never get back up to that 275lb mark...my body just won't handle it...God bless

hey bro...back up to 236lbs. This come back has taken forever, but I am on track to compete in November and hope to come in at the top of the heavies. Not sure at 42 I can carry the 270 I used to...but I figure I will take it back to 250 and come down.

the 40's can be your best time. Muscle maturity and life experience work in your favor! Although I will say that we certainly have to train smarter than when we were young!
