taiga1 Thanks, Jeff! It was truly awesome!! My original time goal was between 4:20 and 4:30, but I had so many aches and pains for the 3 weeks leading up to race, I was really just hoping to finish without having to walk lol. I'm actually going to take a break from long runs for a while so I can really focus on my lifting and hopefully make some gains there. But, dang I'm gonnna miss it! So, how have you been? Did you run Vegas? Still aiming for a BQ time? Dec 19, 2012 4:09pm

funsize3 omg let me tell you! SPORTS MASSAGE lol!!!!!!!!! polyester socks!! i feel good now though! i had so much blisters, but it was definately inspiring and motivating! i hit the wall at 18 miles, doh! my pace group was 440 but i lost them after 18 so i did 5. oh well! i finished lol Oct 16, 2012 5:39pm

funsize3 hi! i got it at dick's actually. there are a lot online too, theyre a bit pricy the heavier the weight. i don't intend on increasing the weight because i know it'll mess up my joints but i think it'll help walking inclines. let me know what you think Sep 15, 2012 3:08pm

taiga1 The vest was AWESOME! It was tougher than I thought it would be...definitely recommend it for an added challenge to any cardio routine. Oh, and my favorite hotels I've stayed at in Vegas are Mandalay and the Mirage. :) Jul 31, 2012 3:35pm

taiga1 Yeah, I would like to do the Vegas one someday. We are often there that time of year for the NFR...you may see lots of cowboy hats on the strip that week, haha!
