Background
I started reading articles and research on becoming fit and on the bodybuilding industry during the end of my senior year. But I didn't become serious until this past year. I was introduced to a workout program at my university, which involved walking 4 times a week. And I have seen results, but I want to become fit, which would involved training with weights and eating very clean. I'm ready for that challenge, but will have to get over my intimidation by the people in the weight room.
I love working out because of how I feel after a hard workout: the feeling of invincibility. I feel like I can accomplish anything if I push hard enough. I'm working out to constantly improve. My ultimate goal would be to enter into a figure competition.

The plan I'm leaning on right now to get me somewhat in shape so I can run in a 5K race in the fall and possibly try out Crossfit in summer.
Nike Training Club- 30 minutes to 1 hour
Walk/run 3 miles: this can take from 25-40 minutes to do.

1 Opti-Women in the morning

5.17.12 I worked out today for the first time since spring break. A combination of a tough glute workout and the Stress Slammer workout on the Nike Training Club. By the end, my entire body, especially my muscles, were shaking. I downed a EAS Myloplex and feel great. I have missed feeling like this. I'm taking summer classes so I know I should be in the gym or track when I'm not in class or fulfilling other leadership duties at my university. Starting today, no more soda, and limiting sugar... Finding Focus...Again

Re-Igniting the Fire

Monday starts the rest of the semester, which is going to be busier than ever. From running a week of events at my university, to finals, presentations, and helping with a fundraiser, I’m doing it all.
But one thing I’m glad I did during Spring Break was to work out three times this week because previously I haven’t worked out since mid-February; I honestly missed it.

My academic life has overtaken my life. I haven’t been working out, in fact I haven’t done so in about a month. But now I’m on spring break. I’m going to try to workout at least three times while I’m out. After next week, only a month left in this semester. I would also say that my diet hasn’t been particularly ideal, but my protein intake has been up though since I have been enjoying the heck out of my whey protein.
