When I Started:
How I Started:
I've been going to the gym off and on since high school. After the birth of my second child, I started actively working out. I Weighed 206lbs and wanted to get the weight off. So I set my goals, planned my own workouts and meals. I finally got down to 140lbs a year and a half ago with 21%BF. Well, I've gained about 10lbs and want to get back to 140.
Why I Love It:
I feel sooooo great when I work out! I feel better about myself an my body. My moods are better and I have more energy.
How I Stay Motivated:
It's hard for me to stay motivated because I will do great for about 2 weeks- then decide I can have a cheat meal, then the cheat meal turns into a cheat day and I get off track. OR I wont be able to work out on a day or two I am supposed to, get depressed and start pigging out.
So what I try to do is look at older and newer pictures of myself, look at fitness magazines, look at profiles on here. Especially on those days when I want to cheat or am not able to get my work out in. :)
BB Accomplishments:
I hit 360 2 reps on leg press.

Do you track your workouts (exercises, weight, reps, etc.)?
Yes
If so, how do you do it? Workout log, software program, etc.? Why do you do it this way?
Just an excel graph my husband and I worked up. We print it out for the month with the exercises, sets, reps and fill in the wight we do as we go.

Do you currently have a workout partner?
Yes
Why do you like having a workout partner? What are the benefits?
Right now it's my husband. I love haveing a workout parter because it pushes me. Usualy we don't work out well at all together. But we have been doing very well and keep eachoter motivated. Also, it's great to have a workout parter because you can help eachother by making sure your form is proper. Right now it's my husband. I love haveing a workout parter because it pushes me. I am sooo stoked! So,to catch up on things a little bit. Stopped going to the gym for a few months because of a huge change in our family. Quit one gym and joined another one that is a little farther away from where we live now(we moved). Decided to go to this new gym that is farther...
Hello! Maybe you just need to start off at a slower speed when you are jogging. Do that for about 5 min. and see how you feel. If you feel you can go a little faster, then increase the speed by a couple and do that for 5 min. Just take it in 5 min increments and see how that works. Good luck to you you're looking great!
Happy New Year to you as well! 2009 IS OUR YEAR! My training has been getting better and better..I wake up every morning craving the pump. Just take it one day at a time girlie..I'm here for ya!
Hey, thanks!!! Your progress is lookin' awesome :) Don't be hard on yourself, you have come so far in your journey...and we all have cheat days that turn into multiple days....just get right back on track as quickly as possible and carry on. Congrats to you on your transformation :)
