How I Started: Was fit & strong but a small hardgainer in H.S. Started at 5'10" and 120 lbs @ 4% bodyfat. Now 6'0" and 185lbs @ 12% bodyfat.

How I Stay Motivated: There is no try...only do or do not.
BB Accomplishments: Recovering from herniated lumbar disc and surgery (1999). Regaining 25 lbs of muscle! Bench 245x2, Squat 315x5, Deadlift 405x1. AFAA Certified Trainer.

What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?
weak core and poor discipline, also ego.

What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
herniated discs, L4-L5 and L5-S1
1 year
Lumbar microdiscetomy (after 3 epidurals)
6 months of physical therapy and one year of rebuilding in the gym
