My passion for fitness and bodybuilding started around Junior High. Obviously at the time my primary interest was girls seemed to like muscular guys. I was what you would classify a super nerd at the time. Had a little athletic ability, but most sports just didn't interest me. In about 8 or 9th grade I took a strength and conditioning class from then on out I was hooked!
Why I Love It:
I found that working out and bodybuilding gave me more self confidence but I became addicted to feeling I got from lifting weights. Over the years my passion and drive has only continued grow that has helped me in many other areas in my life.
How I Stay Motivated:
Discipline is like a muscle the more you use it, the stronger it gets! I have certainly found that to be the case in my life. Balance is also important in life too and learning when to relax and when to stay on track is key to your success and ultimately making fitness and bodybuilding a lifestyle.
BB Accomplishments:
In 05' I became deathly ill with a bacteria that put me in the hospital for over three months. I underwent two life saving surgeries and part of my left lung was cut out. I went from a solid 185lbs 9% body fat down to 135 skin and bones. I was released from the hospital at the end of March of 05 and a short six months later I was almost back up to my 185lb physique determined to rebuild it better and stronger than before. I am now a true believer and living proof that there is such a thing as muscle memory!
Shortly after rebuilding my physique I was asked to model for bodybuilding.com of which I had been a customer almost as long as they had been around.
The rest as they say is history!
I hit the gym 5 days a week at 6:00 A.M. with my training partner for no longer than an hour. I bring all of my intensity and focus I possibly can and strive to give it 110% which I firmly believe is the name of the game when it comes to results in the gym.
It's great to hear things are going good. Hey, do me a favor and accept my friend request. It's just not right that I'm stalking you. Ha! Take care Bro.
