How I Started:
I always wanted to. I "tried to" a few times...but after I got out of college I was determined that I was not going to be average. So I started working out and reading books on BB. I realized that the gym could be such a positive constant in my life, that it was worth the price.
Why I Love It:
Gives me something to do each day that is for me. It gives me goals, progress, confidence....so many things. Plus, I get to meet so many cute girls ;-)
I've always been ambitious....but since I got bitten by the gym, I have gotten really ambitious. I go 6-7 days a week. Every week. It's actually the highlight of my day in a lot of ways. A girl at work and I were talking about it, and she said was like..."I don't know how you stay motivated to go at 8 or 9 at night..I'd be too beat." The truth is that I was just like that for a long time. Almost two years to be exact. I started this about three years ago, and for the first ~18 months, it was tugh to maintain my focus and get in the gym regularly. Like everything else, though...I just kept at it, and now it's just second nature. I use AST supplements, and just keep hitting the weights and doing 15 minutes of hard cadio and boxing each day.
