Hi Ray, It took me a few secs to realize it was a typo. Thanks for saying hi. I'm coming back from a lay off. I just moved to Louisville with my wife in March and I re-injured my back moving furniture! So I've been out of commission training wise for over a month. I can't believe how much my strength and endurance has diminished in that span of time. But I'll be back to my old form in a couple of months (hopefully). Take care and I'll see you at LAC. Thanks Ken. I recently relocated to Louisville after being a life long NY'er. I haven't done any BB photography but you never know. I've thought about masters but I don't think I'm ready yet. Besides the rigors of competition might take the fun out of it all which is why I do it in the first place. Cheers, Joseph

I don't use them. i have instead a tanita body composition scale. it's relatively accurate especially to see whether you're making or not making progress. that's if you weigh under the same exact conditions every time.

Thanks Kitjai..yes it's all about muscle shape and genetics. I'm lcky in both areas in certain respects. There are guys who out weight me by 20-30 lbs (not fat either) and look like they've been working out for barely 6 months. Getting lean also helps you look a lot bigger than your numbers may suggest. hey thanks. nah i don't think i'll ever reach 20". i'll be happy if i some day manage to reach 18" cold. they're over 18" when i'm pumped but that doesn't count ;)

hey richard, yes i'm just coming off a bulk cycle. i managed to put on a few lbs of muscle but went a bit overboard in my indulgence and simply put on too much body fat. so now i'm trying to lose it and hopefully keep the bit of muscle in the process. well lesson learned. i'll never let myself go down that road again. thanks for saying hey :)

thanks jack. but we actually have the advantage as it takes tall guys a lot longer and requires a lot more work to fill out!
