My New Year's Resolution for 2007 was to improve my health and lose some weight. 2-17-07 I broke my back rollerblading. I decided that it was time to make some major changes. In April, I was released by my surgeon to start working out. My weight when I started was 234 lbs and I am currently weighing 188 lbs. I want to drop another 20-30 lbs this year. My body fat started at over 40% and I am now at 24%.
Why I Love It:
I love to see the transformation of my body. I love seeing the scale drop and the fat drop too. I have become addicted to it.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by watching the changes that I go through at each stage. I love seeing the new muscles develop.

This picture was taken before I started working out.
This picture was at the military ball in November 2007 and my weight was around 195.
I want the body that I used to have or atleast something close to it. I want to be 150 lbs with a body fat of 17%. I want to have well defined muscles and a body that I can look at and not be embarrassed of.

Congrats to you. Both my wife (bodyspace name: judimax) and I needed body transformations and chose to follow Body for Life, which is a 12-week program. It is not super easy but at the same time it is not so hard that you won’t be able to accomplish your goals. Believe in your own inner strength and use your friends, your fellow BB.com’ers or even my wife or me if you want as your sounding boards and support systems as you make this happen
