When I Started:
2000
How I Started:
I have always been a physically active person. I studied martial arts for many years, but didnt start lifting until I joined the Army. Deployments got in the way (Iraq), but now I am 30 and it's time to do the things I have always wanted to do. I know, it's the midlife crises cliche. Today is New years day and my wife and I are totally into a new lifestyle of health.
Why I Love It:
so many days feel completely unproductive. I sit in my cubicle and wonder if I have done anything to better my self, my situation, or my life. After I work out I have sense of accomplishment.
How I Stay Motivated:
This website helps. Also watching people like Ronnie Coleman and Jay Cutler helps. When I see what they have acheived my simple goals look well within reach. I also really want to be the man my wife deserves. She deserves to have a nice strong man to lean on and cuddle up to.
BB Accomplishments:
When I was deployed to bosnia I worked out in the gym at our base camp (eagle base) every day. I started taking my first supplement. ProLabs Creatine. My max bench went from 165 - 255 in 6 months. I actually had a chest by the time my mission was accomplished.

Concentration curls I guess. I have made gains using dumbells and the barbell. I have tried 21s, drop sets and cable curls. I have not notced anything to be far superior. I think the important thing is that you bend your arm until muscle failure. Do what feels right to you.Concentration curls I guess. I have made gains using dumbells and the barbell. I have been keeping in shape (to some degree) for a while. Now i am trying to get in the gym and step things up. I have always wanted a great physique and I know that I can acheive it. I have been consistent with pushups/situps/run. Now I am serious about eating right, working hard, working...
no i haven't ... its good to cycle toe creatine tho ... even if its ethyl ester...i would keep taking whey protein tho as a post workout "meal" yeah cardioid's what did it for me i dropped almost another 15 pounds over the summer ... sure did lose alot on my bench tho ... the guy i lift whit came back and i barley bench 250 nos
well...i actually dont have a spotter, my buddy went to Indiana to work, so im using dumbells and workin with lighter weight high reps, and runnin alot to lose weight...i prolly bench less now than i did...but ill have it before i graduate
honestly i think the 100% whole wheat works well...it fills me up alot too..i finally broke thru my benching plateau so now im hesitant to change anything at the moment...so hows everything going for you over there, and when do you return home?
hmmm...havent been able to find any whole rye bread anywhere...most of it is enriched...which im trying to stay away from, or is made from bleached white flour...which i also dont want to be eating...any advice?
turns out your right...rye bread has more fiber which is way better for those trying to shed body fat, and it leads to lower natural levels of estrogen than wheat bread, along with preventing certain cancers and diseases...thanks for the advice bro
