I stopped smoking june 30 2007 after 12 years of destroying my lungs. When I did quit I started to gain some serious weight I was around 227 lbs.A couple of buddies started making comments about my weight and I took it to heart. The very next day I started going to the gym to do some cardio within a week I was lifting weights and I have not stopped since. The best thing to happen was me hearing it from people I trust some say it was cruel to make comments, I say THANK YOU
Why I Love It:
Feeling the sweat roll off My face and hitting the ground. The feeling that my muscles are going to bust trough my skin. Its just me and the weights.. the klanging of the weights are music to my ears.
How I Stay Motivated:
LUKE-1:37 ---With God nothing is impossible----I have spent many years destroying my body,Now I will rebuild it stronger and better. The look on my buddies and families face when they see me now.I know it has only been 6 months but I have busted my ass and I see a big change.I cant wait for another 6 months to see even bigger changes. All the other people on here that had felt or feel what I felt when someone they trusted told them they where fat..One day I hope you can say Thank you to them .If you are lazy you will NOT make it...
BB Accomplishments:
For the first time in my life I have benched 200 lbs it was a great feeling watching that bar go back up...lol

This was taken when I was first starting out.
I am 225 pounds and hate what I see.
What's up my man? Just trying to touch base with everyone on my friends list. Hope all is well in your world and you're having a great weekend. I'm making some big changes if ya get a chance stop by and check it out.
I lost over 50 lb’s and dropped my bodyfat from approx. 36% to 10% in only 12 weeks by following the Body for Life program. It’s not super easy but still not so hard that you can’t reach your goals. Challenge yourself and you will get where you want to be and the results will be well worth the effort. Give me a yell if you wish.
I just thought that I would drop by and wish you much success in your quest for better fitness. Always challenge yourself to be the best that you can be during each and every workout and believe in your own inner strength. I wish you all the best of the season and look forward to seeing your continuing progress in ’08.

Thanks for the nice comments Jason. Stay with a regular program of heavy lifting and good eating and you'll reach your goals quicker than you'd think. Good luck and God bless. Gene
