When I Started:
Aug, 2005
How I Started:
I began training in Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do my sophomore year in college (which led me to train in Boxing, Muay Thai, BJJ, Kali, Silat, and Shooto). Before the popularity of MMA really took off, I was cross training in various arts and investigating different ways to increase my strength and endurance - which included plyometrics, resistance training, HIIT, and many other unconventional types of training to help give me the advantage in the totality of combat.
Why I Love It:
Makes me a better martial artist and improves my overall health. I recently had a great blood/liver panel, and want to make it even better. My free test was a little on the low side though.
How I Stay Motivated:
Knowing that I am training harder and smarter than my opponent
BB Accomplishments:
Staying lean at 7-8% BF for over 4 years.
