Vegan Body Building Diet
I consider myself nutritional vegan because I follow a vegan diet preimarily for health benefits, and consider the animal friendly factor as an added bonus. That being said, it takes alot to get me to eat meat, but if I have to choose between going catabolic, and not eating turkey, or ham at a holiday meal, I will generally eat the damn turkey! Plus, I generally eat fish about once or twice a month just so I do not get sick on previously mentioned occasions, but I am really glad to see that being vegan is not as hard as it was when I started only 5 years ago!
I mostly stick to the NOW products for supplementation. They have the desired (isolated) compound needed, at a reasonable price, and no B.S.
Currently I am in my "bulking phase", which consists of:
Breakfast:
NOW ADAM, NOW Glucosamine/MSM, Yerba Mate tea
Almond Milk, Nutribiotic Rice protein (1scoop) or Hemp protein (4 scoops), Now L-glutamine, Creatine Mono, Garden of Life Perfect Food (RAW)
Hemp Granola Cereal
Snack:
Nuts/Apple,
Lunch:
Tofurkey Sandwhich on Ezekiel (or equivilent) bread, Blue corn chips, Fruit Leather. NOW ADAM, OVega-3
Snack:
Peanut butter on ezekiel, banana, or rice protein and oats
Post W/O
Nitrofusion Protein/1 scoop waxy maize in water.
*Optional Kava kava (fresh ground root, 4tbspoons/tea after shake/pre-dinner)
Dinner:
Soup/Protein (seiten, "chicken" etc.) spinach salad w/oil/balsamic
*Optional- Rice protein/chocolate Almond milk/coconut water (on kava nights).
I also Drink about 4 Liters of water per day
There it is! I have gained about 8 lbs in 4 weeks with this diet, and mostly muscle! This is a semi-cut/maintenance diet where i am trying to loose some fat while maitaining muscle for my 1/2 marathon. I will post my bulk diet for Feb., and my cut diet for march.

Bulk/Endurance Athlete Stack.
Yes. I am trying to bulk and train for an endurance event. Its not that bad, but needless to say I always feel full. I mostly stick to the NOW supplements because they make many vegetarian sourced versions of popular supplements, but I have also recently discovered cellucor, and like their products. My current supplement plan is a pretty big stack, as I am trying to figure out what works for me, and what is a waste, plus I do not like the idea of a "proprietary blends" in many cases, but I am realizing that these products exist for a reason. Convenience. My current stack looks like this:
Hemp protein (morning)
Rice protein, and oats, or a protein bar (pre workout meal)
Now CLA 1hr before lunch
OVEGA-3 vegan omega 3 with lunch
Cellucor bBCAA/ NOW Creatine Monohydrate, L-Carnitine pre-workout
Nitorfusion/wazymaize/l-glutamine
NOW adam 1hr before bed
Rice protein 30min before bed
