I was a little fat kid growing up. Then when I was in eighth grade I decided to do something about it. I ran my ass off and did countless ab exercises, and(with help from a growth spurt)I managed to lose it. Then, I was a sophomore in high school and I was in the football locker room showing off my abs, when one of the seniors (who was a pretty big guy) said, " When are you going to get that chest out there? And what about your arms?" I've been slamming them every since then.
Why I Love It:
I love bodybuilding for a number of reasons. Mostly because it's my escape from the reality of life. When I'm in the gym it's just me and the weights. I also like it because not everyone can do it. It takes patience, time, and discipline that not everyone has. Nothing in this sport is "god given" no matter how good your genetics are. If you don't train you don't see results.
How I Stay Motivated:
I really love this stuff. Also as a father I want my daughter to share in some of the things I hope to accomplish in this sport. I want her to talk about how big my arms are, not my gut.
BB Accomplishments:
No competitions yet, but that will be changing on the 30th of May.
