How I Started:
i have worked out on and off since jr. high for football and other sports.I never really got to seriouse about lifting until this tour in iraq. I decided that i want to get as huge as i can. short term goals are to easy. need to stick with it for the long haul..
Why I Love It:
It has always been a great way to release stress for me. Its my time in the gym, clear my head you could say. I often feel so much better after i work out, puts me in a really good mood. I have to do some type of work out every day.
How I Stay Motivated:
how can't you be motivated.

staying with it this long and progressing to new levels and seeing the results and hear it from my friends while i was on R&R

How many reps per set do you usually do? Why?
right now i am doing only 4-6 reps per set going heavy. i only warm up once and do a few burn out sets at the end of my work out for that muscle group.

What do you do before your workout to get motivated and energized?
get with my lifting partner make a mix on the ipod talk about what are goals are for the day then beat down the block.

so i recently pulled something in my back. everytime i take a deep breath it hurts like a bruised rib. Gonna have to take it easy for awhile and work on my legs more. Going home for 18 days of RnR in 2 weeks anyway so that will be good re-coop time. Still im going nuts not being able to hit it...
