I'm a huge advocate of eating a lot of CLEAN food for growth, typical bodybuilder foods and a lot of it.

Offseason-chicken, ground beef 85% lean or better, ground turkey 93% or better, eggs, protein powder, occasional cold-cut turkey in egg whites in the morning.

Oatmeal, brown rice, sweet potatoes, gritts, bananas, vitargo, blueberries, whole grain breads, whole grain pastas,

Peanut butter, Almonds, canolla oil, olive oil, fish oils, CLA,

 

Try to get  those things in to help you Improve to the best you can be

Danatural Hey Jared. Thanks. Time to hit the off season and back to the drawing board. Looking to continue to gain some more thickness and re-evaluate come fall. Next spring will depend on whether I can make the required improvements in order to become a little more competitive. Losing sucks, haha. When are you hoping to step on stage again? Danatural I have been at 204 as of last week. Abs definitely not in but in better shape then I was last year at this time. Looking forward to dieting to see if improvements were made this past year . Oct 17, 2011 4:19pm

Danatural Yeah, my diet will start 12-1. My metabolism isn't as fast as it was when I was your age (what I would give to be in my early 20's again) so you will definitely have an advantage in the conditioning department.
