When I Started:
Jun, 1999
How I Started:
I was tired of being a small guy and people not noticing me. People would cut in front of me as if I wasn't standing there. I bought a small Weider Gym set and started in my garage.
I couldn't even bench 100 lbs when i started and was curling about 20 lbs dumbells. Got a subscription to Muscle Fitness and started to learn proper form and some great building workouts, oh yea, I was eating 7 large meals a day. That nearly killed me. I started to get enough confidence to actually go to a gym and workout.
At the gym is where I met a lot of people who help me change my routine and pushed me beyond my wildest dream of lifting.
Joined Gold's Gym and saw the big boys in town, that deflated me, but now I am known by them and hope to be up there with the big power house guys.
Why I Love It:
I love the pump!!!Just the way a person can change their body so much is awesome.
How I Stay Motivated:
The support of friends and seeing the way I can manipulate my bodies muscles!
BB Accomplishments:
Going form 120 lbs to 200 lbs

Well I went to my initial Veterans Administration doctor's appointment today, thinking I could get some help with some of my minor ailments. My knees have been killing me for a few years now and I really am starting to feel more and more pain in them. They hurt real bad when I am relaxing and...
Powderhouse Productions, TV producer for major networks, NEEDS TEXAS BODY BUILDERS. Our next show will talk about artificial muscles and we'd like to talk about them with a few body builders around to show real muscles at their finest. If you are interested please contact us. We will be shooting November 23rd or 24th in the Dallas area. It should be an interesting shoot and great exposure for all involved. I look forward to hearing from you. I don't think I would go that far! I'm just one of those "Half Century" guys trying to keep up with you Forty Something folks! You're looking pretty JACKED!
C'mon, 'tex!! No "poor me" attitudes allowed - you rock, you're STRONG, you ARE making progress and NOTHING can beat you down! Chin up, buddy! :) ~Brooke
Thanks man. You look awesome. Read your profile and you remind me of me. I was only 140lbs out of high school and was tired of being "pushed around". I earned my amateur-pro card last year and i use my new found respect to inspire people to become better. Keep up the great work and i'll keep uploading the vids.
