Background

HOW I STARTED:

I use to lift off and on since high school. I joined the Army to support my family and quickly assumed greater priorites such as training for combat. I recently got out of the military and now I would like to enjoy one of the freedoms I been longing to ful-fill! I started lifting again in 2009 and competed in my first contest Novemeber 2009.

WHY I LOVE IT:

I love bodybuilding because of the rewards it brings. There is a lot of payoff for all the work you give yourself. It rewards 99% benifits and interest of all the sweat and tears you have earned.

Pre-contest progression

Today Im exactly 9 weeks out. My diet is at 2560 calories and not taking in any form of simple sugars what so ever. Its all complex carbs. I have a feeling this time will be a little better than last contest. I have a head full of things I needed to correct and a trainer as well this time. I am currently supersetting every muscle by itself now. Im doing this in hopes of keeping everything I packed on. I am at abot 5% bodyfat and weigh 179 now.

Whats your view on supersets?

What do you think of doing supersets as your primary way of lifting for pre-contest?

guest Gday mate, saw your transformation pics and just wanted to let you know that you really inspired me! I am at about the stage you where when you got into training and seeing what you have achieved helps me see there is a light at the end of the tunnel. My injury was not as dramatic as yours but i have a lower back injury that has seen me put on a lot of weight Anyway Mate thanks for the inspiration!
