I used exercise to relieve stress around exam time in my senior year of high school. I noticed how quickly my body responded to the resistance training, so I decided to enter my first comp (FAME Worlds 2005) and take it from there.
Why I Love It:
It gives me something to be passionate about. Something to look forward to when I wake up in the morning. And it has really expanded my social circle.
How I Stay Motivated:
Competing and knowing that as hard as I'm working, there's always someone out there working harder, and everytime I stop, someone who is continuing will catch up to me.

7% bodyfat. Ya, you heard me :-) It's gonna happen again....
Goal (Long):
I'm sick of coming in first because there are no female juniors to compete against, and I'm sick of coming in last because I don't yet have the muscular maturity or mass to go against novice women.
I will push myself as hard as I need to in the gym, and eat as many chickens as I need to in the kitchen in order to get to where I want to go.
I started working with Layne Norton at 20 weeks out. It was my birthday present to myself. I competed last year in the same show I plan on doing this year, and I brought a pretty good package: 5"7, 138, ~10% bodyfat. But I came in last, and was excrutiatingly disappointed because I'd taken...
The is a show in Mississauga on sept 15 a wbff show. I want to see the idfa sho in toronto in November. I am bulking up now. 196 and climbing 210lbs here I come.
Jaime you look incredible, keep up the good work. You are an inspiration to everyone who is battling eating disorders...as you know its a lifelong struggle, keep up the good fight!
Hey "Strong-Ass Jew Crew" Strong-ass member...guess what: UofT gym kicked me to the curb, so i signed up at adrenalin again...feels good to be bacK! cya around there, i guess.
how are you doing sweetie? I just read your article.....I went through EXACTLY the same thing. I managed to pull myself out of the cycle..but every word of that was as if I was writing it. Its crazy how we always think we are the only ones and the only ones that have these feelings..but we ALL SHARE the same insticts at times.
Hows your doctor working out for you?
Thanks Jaime, I received the books and look forward to reading tonight. Thanks so much once again, I am so excited and want to get started ASAP. I have been training like a "beast" in the gym, and now have a nickname "tiger"..Who knows what my next nickname will be..LOL
