I've been lifting weights on and off for track since I was 16. Nothing serious in High School. In college the lifts were centered around power movements and olympic lifts (i.e. power clean, snatch, etc.) to develop explosiveness. I followed my workout programs that were given to me and haven't really had the opportunity to lift like a bodybuilder until recently. Unless I'm competing there really is no need for split jerks and hang cleans so now I have decided to lift like a bodybuilder and see where it takes me.
Why I Love It:
Its just a good feeling. I love the feeling of the pump, I love it when reps start to burn and hurt, I love seeing the results of my hard work.
How I Stay Motivated:
I need to lift to stay active otherwise I'll probably go insane! It doesn't take much to stay motivated really, I've been an active athletic person my whole life so its just second nature to want to stay in shape.
BB Accomplishments:
None yet but I have plans...

When people ask me what I'm on or what do I take I tell em, I'm on my grind and I take one rep at a time

jaepeelupdated Fit Status "Dropping down and getting lean was nice but its back to a bulking diet to try and put on some quality muscle before my next cut!"
My initial weight goal was to gain 20lbs of muscle which I have accomplished. I wanted to break my goals up so that they were more attainable, now my goal is to gain ANOTHER 20lbs of muscle. So lets see if in a year I can accomplish that.
