How I Started:
I got started lifting weights in middle school wrestling. My coach positively influenced many aspects of my life. He inspired me to continually push myself beyond the limits of my imagination.
Why I Love It:
I love the way a good pump feels. Aside from finishing a race with nothing left, a really intense workout is one of the most amazing feelings there is.
How I Stay Motivated:
It doesn't take much to keep me motivated. A compliment here or there, seeing someone running down the road after work it all gets me motivated.
BB Accomplishments:
Last winter I upped my bench max (2 rep)
from 185 to 300 pounds, thats unassisted. No fake reps for me!

Goal (Long):
I want to continue adding lean mass, and keep my endurance level up. I have been asked to participate in a marathon so I want to get my mass put on and maintain while I add to my aerobic capacity!

Good luck with your goals! I love all the different types of training people engage in on this site. I'm with you...I'd rather keep my weight down and increase strength and endurance. Keep working on it.
