Growing up in Italy, I played A LOT of soccer along with other sports (field hockey, soft ball & ran cross country)... so, I was always very athletic and on the go. After having both of my children, I easily lost the weight... but once I went back to school, things went down hill! I became a BIG stress eater! Summer of '05 I went back to Italy for my cousins wedding, and it wasn't until I saw photos that I finally realized i NEEDED to do something about my weight. I began going to the gym here and there but never really stuck with it until I started going last Sept. I go about 3-5 days a week. I am proud to say that I have dropped *about 15 lbs. all together. I am now ready to build some muscle and start looking cut!
Why I Love It:
It's something that I do for myself... I call it "Mommy Time". It's a way to escape my every day routines... and it just feels great!
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing the results that I have had to this point is enough motivation for me. I love a new challenge... and I am ready for one!

Looks like your Hunny is back from Iraq! Congrats... looking good. I'm sure it was a great surprise for him :) I'm guessing he would have been happy to see you either way.
I bought the powertech because it,s built real solid and I love free weights but always lift alone. So the leverage machine seemed to be the best choice. I think when I bought it was like $1300 There was some units I would have picked over it but they were $6000.lol But for what it is
I couldn't be happier.
Thanks Girly! When R YOU gonna' represent "Funky Town" at a competition??? Lone Star Classic June 3rd in Plano! U there?!!?!! *smile*

Well it sounds like you're on the right track. Training at home is tough but it can be done. There are a lot of examples on this sight. I had a great session at home myself Friday:)
hi childress, thanks :) Glad you can appreciate the taebo also, I think it makes the time go by faster than regular tread mill type cardio. I hope you have a great day!
