When I Started: Feb, 2006
How I Started: In the middle of my Junior year of high school I decided to bodybuild and to someday compete. I made this decision after years of on and off weight lifting, which didn't do much for me physically.
Why I Love It: People look at you and treat you differently when you've got some muscle mass. I couldn't count all the times someone has made a comment about my size, whether positive or negative.

The best feeling I get is when my friends forget that I lift. We're joking around and I've got a pair of shorts on and all of a sudden they freak out at the size of my quads. They're unknowingly making me work even harder in the gym.
How I Stay Motivated: My training parter, Tazi, helps me to stay motivated, as well as whenever I look in the mirror.

Some times when I get up at 4:30am I don't want to go, but knowing I have a partner to kick my ass if I don't, it helps me to drag myself out of bed.

Before bodybuilding - Over 190 pounds Abdominals - 143 pounds
This was during a lot of powerlifting, but only with occasional trips to the gym. I ate anything i wanted and was over 190 pounds with more than 20% BF.  First day of bulking after eating a few bowls of cookie crisp, still looking cut at 143 pounds.

Goals:
Main Goal: Gain Muscle
Goal (Short): Recover from severe BCT muscle loss and become a beast again
Goal (Long): I finished Army BCT on 28 September 07 and lost roughly 20-25 pounds of muscle mass and gained roughly 2-4 pounds of fat (shitty food). I want to gain 5-8 pounds of muscle mass once I finish AIT in February and then get back to being a beast in the gym. By summer 2008 I want to be a lean 180 pounds
Weight Goal: I want to GAIN 30 lb
Bodyfat Goal: 9%
