Been going to the gym and playing sports since high school but never really got into one thing that was my favorite. Over the last 15 years I have been in and out of the gym but this last year during dental hygiene school I couldn't stand looking at myself anymore. When on a couple dates with a guy that was training for a fitness comp and was like wow....so December 08 I began my new mission...its now July and I have lost 33 lbs. Want to lose a little more, and work on definition and becoming more lean. I'd love to do a comp one day..but right now I just want to look like I could :)
Why I Love It:
builds confidence, gives me energy and makes me feel great!
How I Stay Motivated:
watching other girls workout, learning new stuff from them, reading magazines, websites...keeps me inspired to reach my goals.
BB Accomplishments:
- losing 33 lbs since Dec/08
- learning how to run!! simple for some people but i always hated it, still need to work on it but i can run for 45 mins straight now :)
I did compete....and was told that I came sixth in med tall. We will see when the results come out for real I guess!!
