Jun, 2008
How I Started:
I had worked out on and off for many years but never took it serious. After hitting my 40's the hormones and metabalism crashed into each other and created a very evil monster that I could not live with. So I killed the Bit@h and now here I am. Living and Loving Life
I entered the Body for Life Challenge in June '08 and over the next 12 weeks I went through one of the most life changing and rewarding experiences.
Why I Love It:
Workout and staying healthy has helped me to overcome negative and lack of confidence issues that have kept me down for so long.
How I Stay Motivated:
My husband and children are my biggest fans and just the site of them motivates me. I want to be around for a long time.

Goal (Long):
I entered the Body for Life Challenge in June of 2008. At that time, my life had reached an all time low. Throughout the 12 week challenge so many things changed for the better. It became a life style and now there is no turning back. BFL recently called and informed me that I was in the Top 5 in my age catagory. Something I never dreamed would happen.
Now I know dream do come true, so I will start training in Feb for a competition in May 2009
Give me thoughts: Have you heard about the Rock Star Fitness Weekend in Dallas hosted by Two Times Ms. Olympia Jenny Lynn and Pro Fitness Trish Warren. It is June 20-21 Let me know if you have interest in attending.
Which show are you looking to do in May in Houston? You should plan to compete at the FAME event. Also, you should consider competing in the NPC Branch Warren show in Conroe in late June.
Outstanding results, Bravo to you and obviously dedication and determination are part of your heart, just wanted to say hi, My Father in Law is a retired LAPD 25 yrs, have a deep and abding respect for law enforcement, God Bless have a great day
Truly amazing and inspirational! I'm sure you feel and great as you look. congrats. When we get over 40 we all think about our health a little more don't we? :) CV
Congrats on your BFL success. And as one also > 45, it's great to see you fighting the good fight. Could you spare a couple inches in height.....then I'd be rid of my handles & uncover my long lost abs... :) Good luck on '09 comp.
