How I Started:
I've been pretty active all my life. My weight's been a rollercoaster ride and now I'm finally heading in the right direction. Since having my daughter in Oct. 2007, I wanted to set the right example for her and for all moms out there who don't think they can do it.
Why I Love It:
It is a great stress release. I love the power I get from lifting. I love being able to handle a lot of weight, especially when I can lift more than the guys!!
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing/feeling the pump after a workout is the greatest motivator for me. Also looking back at my before pics and clothes that are falling off of me helps a lot too!

Goal (Long):
I will lose approx 8-10 lbs of fat and gain about 5-10 more lbs of muscle before I compete this fall.
I goal is to pack on as much muscle as I can before May 31....I am traveling out of the country for 2 weeks so I will be using bands to lift with since there are no gyms in the area...I will do whatever it takes to keep my shape.
Then as of May 31st, I'll be focusing on leaning out...lot's of cardio. I will be starting my pre-contest diet. I already eat very healthy so it will not be a shock. I am so excited!! Did I say that already?

How has bodybuilding and fitness helped and/or changed your family life?
I manage my time much better than I used to. My health is so important to me as my family's health is also. Working out has become a top priority for me in my daily schedule. Ok, so I have a month....not much time at all. I haven't had a lot of time to sit and post. But I wanted to keep you all posted on my progress. I am currently on the Cut Diet w/ Team Scivation. I wanted to thank them, Derek especially, for being so patient with all my questions and getting back...

You might consider competing in the show in Indy Sept 26. That will be my first comp...
