Ellsworth High Attended 1992 to 1994 Ellsworth, Wisconsin United States
When I Started:
Jun, 1990
How I Started:
I was always the small guy on the football team, and started lifting to help me get more playing time. Eventually, I realized that I enjoyed weightlifting as much as competitive sports.
Why I Love It:
It's a stress reliever, it keeps me healthier, and for my own fragile ego.
How I Stay Motivated:
I keep a workout journal. I like to look back at where I was in previous years and see improvement. I take some, but not a lot, of progress photos. I like to be "bigger" and stronger than people who really are larger than I am.

YES! I'm the 1041st person the ChickenTuna inspires!!! How could she NOT inspire all of us. The level of dedication it takes to look like that can only serve as inspiration for the rest of us to improve ourselves too. Way to go girl!
Pullups were tough, pushups and situps were much tougher than expected--an off day? dunno. Was ideally hoping for pushups and situps in 2 sets apiece but...
Currently following the Workout of the Day on crossfit.com. Supplementing the workouts with some running and military PT training as needed. Due to not having some equipment, I am substituting some exercises when necessary.
Thanks for the comments and that you find me inspirational. I am humbled by that. I am just a guy trying to spread the word about the benefits of varied functional movement at high intensity.
