Wanted to start bodybuilding to keep myself toned in between running marathons
Why I Love It:
keeping fit, looking healthy, constantly increasing weights and reps so there is always an increasing target. I love meeting other people in the gym who are looking for similar results as me.
How I Stay Motivated:
Constantly assessing my fitness and body shape and setting targets to improve. Manage stress through healthy eating, positive thinking, yoga and being organised at work and home.
BB Accomplishments:
None really, managing to fit into my suit for work and my favourite clothes for going out.

Hello everyone, I am new to this site but glad to be a member, I am very impressed with the support and encouragement people give. I mix my weight training with running marathons, I run two marathons a year, running eats muscle so I have to build it up again when I am not running. I enjoy...
Damn those marathons! :o I could never do one lol. Yeah, I'm on facebook, you'll find me if you search for sweeswee2003@hotmail.com I think I have it set up so no one can find me by name in general search, see, hehehe. Add me!
LOL (cont) Then last week Lacuna Coil did an off the radar gig in a club here in Liverpool, which was pretty good. Now am just getting into debt 'n' stuff but it shall pass! I love your profile pic, heh, what are you doing in my favourite place? (Going to Berlin in February with the girls to freeze our butts off). Emma x
Hey Tom! Good to hear from you, how's things? :) Wow, AC/DC must have been awesome! They played here recently, but I didn't realise, duh! I went to see Nine Inch Nails three weeks ago, omg, that was amazing. Managed to get right to the front and endure suffocation for the whole show (Jane's Addiction supported). (cont)
Hi Tom, not bad...still working through my back injury and training hard - no weights, just gymnastics conditioning so hopefully I can do fitness show next year. Good luck with your training :))
Ha ha yep NZ ain't doing too well huh? I trained with the mighty All blacks the other week! Well they were in my gym and I was staring! ha ha I'm in training for the Auckland marathon at the mo that's in November. Good luck with your training too! great to hear from you! Keep up the good work!
Hi Tom! I just got back in town two days ago and now I'm back in the gym training. I was away for a little vacation. A much needed vacation. Hope all is going well with you. Good to hear from you.
Hee hee I am forced to follow rugby, it's the law here! :-) Nar can't get away from it, it's the nations past time!
The ultra is before the marathon so I don't think it will be good timing anywho! I shall look at the link you sent me thanks it's always good to hear from another fellow marathoner! Another month or so till training begins!!
Hey Tom :)
Busy and bored mainly. How are you? Is your pic in front of the Reichstag? I love it! I was just in Berlin over Christmas watching Alice Cooper and Whitesnake, woohoo x
Hi Tom, I'm starting prep for the Auckland marathon in July too! When Nice marathon? I am toying with the idea of doing an ultra marathon at the end of the year...not sure yet! It will be how ever far you can get to for a solid 24 hours.
Hey, how's it going? What have you been up to lately? Tomorrow is the student's last day of school, so I will be free this summer to chat! Hope you're doing well!!
Yep winter is upon us! But it's only down to about 20 degrees Celsius so far up where I am as it's sub tropical here!! It will get down to 12 or so though! Training going great I have hired a PT and joined the biggest gym in NZ so motivation is very high!! How's it all going with you?
Yes, I've been to Europe lots of times. As a matter of fact I'm making plans to move to Germany. The only countries I've visited in Europe are Germany, Austria, Czech Republic and the UK. Speaking of Germany, isn't that the Germany flag in the background of your avi pic?
Hi Tom, thanks for the compliment. No I didn't go any where for vacation but I'll make it up later this year when I go on my cruise to one of the Caribbeans.
