How I Started:
I started running on 6.21.2008 after a 21 year hiatus to help a friend stay fit & lose weight ... upon celebration of my 43rd birthday I realized that objectively speaking -- I was not 100% in peak athletic cardiovascular health either ... my optimal fitness profile level for my age & gender group appeared rather distant despite my misleadingly 'fit' physical appearance ... I had previously spent my workout time at the gym / yoga studio lifting weights and performing Jivamukti & Anusara Yoga -- these were my sole sources of physical exercise ... upon taking up competitive racing, I started experiencing & enjoying the 'runners high' ... I am now definitely hooked :-) ... I currently combine all 3 for my new personal exercise regimen -- I have fully committed myself (as I advance in age) to continue training with weights, practicing yoga, and to keep on running ... I now feel quite full of vim and vigor ... lastly & most importantly, I simply adore wine -- relish it so much that in my pastime I became a Court of Master Sommeliers accredited Sommelier ... imbibing vino has become a delicious hedonistic indulgence ;-) ... Thanks. Looking good ;). Quick question, how do you stay movitated in your running when it is really cold and yucky outside?? I live in Canada and it is cold and dark in the morning and it is only going to get colder.......
