When I Started:
Jul, 2006
How I Started:
i began working out at the age of 12. i wanted to be HUGE. (didn't we all at some point?)
i also played sports - and to bigger and stronger and faster all through high school and college was a great asset!
Why I Love It:
i love the pump. i love improving myself. i love making myself more attractive. i love being strong. i love the confidence it breeds too.
How I Stay Motivated:
well, for many years it was a necessity- i was a stripper/dancer/entertainer/performer. further, i had to remain in super shape for the bookings along the way. and come 7-june-08, ,i am having a photo session for Playgirl Magazine. i had been in the Mag years prior, but i wish to see if i STILL can do it, if i STILL have it..
BB Accomplishments:
although i never entered any competitions - novices have inquired - "do you compete?" which is a compliment. further, i was a successful entertainer/performer for many years, supported myself - w/ many stints doing modelling on the side too.

here i am hovering over 250. i am thick and musclur - but i do not possess the level of vascularity that i demand of myself...
my abdominals are more pronounced..i am leaning out --- 238lbs. picture taken after training...
to be SUPER "buff, lean, and mean" -- all for the spring and summer months, whereby i shall be "baking" at the pool/beach.
Goal (Long):
i am going to drop down to 230 lbs of muscle on my frame - yet, be very thick and vascular. i am currently at 240 (w/ a six pack). i want my 8 pack to return! i am going to have an expansive V Taper too!
i came across an article in REPS! Magazine (10/7/08) and in it, the idea was extolled concerning doing 100 rep sets to shock the system. hence i am going to try it - first on my back, and then thru the week on other body parts...
currently (but subject to change - i am considering some more of the DC training regiments aspects):
workout 1: chest, lats, triceps, abs; workout 2: hams, quads, glutes, abs; workout 3: midback,delts,biceps,forearms,abs....i am following Xrep training - w/ a "healthy" dose of HIT and even...
Thanks for the nice compliment, Jules, and for the request to add. Good luck with "baking" goal. Ewwww! Makes me cringe just to think about "baking" in the sun! lol
Lean, high definition training scheme. Sounds interesting. I would love to learn more about it. Any info you would share would be terrifc.
Thanks,
Surf
ps: You look great!
I just read your blog....First off I would suggest that reading a book or journal on working out works good for tips and ideas, but sometime following it to a T may not do you any good. Everyone's body is different, so you may be cutting yourself short. A guy your size should be doing each body part once a week in a 4 day or 5 day split.
man thats pretty intense, i hit a light pole too. Good to hear everything is ok now. I get my halo off march 14th, i cant wait! the only downside is that i have a lot of debt because of the accident. This year im going to be working hard and getting out of debt. No fun for me. the main thing is that im alive and well. talk to you later
