My Dad and Uncle Pete inspired me when I was very young.
Why I Love It:
Constant challenges, both physical and mental. If you can constantly push yourself beyond what you think are your limits, nothing can stop you in life. It's finding and listening to that voice inside that says "get up, don't stop, you can't be defeated, failure is not an option".
How I Stay Motivated:
By never being satisfied
BB Accomplishments:
I wouldn't really call these bodybuilding accomplishments, but I dropped from 220 pounds of flab to 180 pounds of pretty solid muscle in about nine months. Recieving my NASM certification. Opening my own training facility in Louisiana. Attending a Gym Jones Athletic Development Seminar.

Somewhere around 230lbs, I thought I was OK since I had 19" arms.LOL! This wasn't rock bottom either. believe it or not I got fatter, I just don't have any pictures.
This is a post that I put on my web site after receiving several comments about how my web page was to dark, intense and gloomy, and how it may come off to intimidating to some. LOL! These comments did not come from anyone that trains at my gym or has ever even been to my gym. It was more of...
I'm glad you had a great time, but I'll bet you're just being modest (about showing them how it's done). Now, I feel sorry for your clients and what you're going to put them through.
From what I know about the fitness industry up here, the spring and summer months are the slow months. The peak months are January, February and March.
I guess things are going well (except that I’m still unemployed). The power-lifting routine you designed for me is just what I needed. I’m rewriting some jokes for my next show. Each day I’m one day closer to returning to college. Last week I had Chad time me in the 100 meter sprint. I’m giving serious consideration to participating in track as a short distance sprinter. How are things going for you?
nice ... I want to cut down but I am trying to maintain my strength and size. I hate losing muscle after working so hard to just get them, it's good to hear you got stronger. I will always change my gym routine every month or so, it does help.
I see the personal website. Did you get your CF gym off the ground and running? Is there a lot of interest in CF in the area? Good luck to you with it.
Your progress pics over the years are pretty amazing bro. In the first one that I have up, I thought that I looked pretty good, at the time, in that polo shirt! Yiek! Is the Crossfit gym going well!
Ha! Thanks Joe. Lisa sent me the picture of me with the slosh pipe before they put it up, and I know it looks like Im smiling, but i was far from it....
Looking positive that Ill be joining the seminar. Ill keep you posted.
