When I Started:
Aug, 2006
How I Started:
The gym has always been a part of my life, but competing was something that I always wanted to do. I began lifting what serious after my freshman year in college. My coach told me that if I didn't returnt the following year bigger and stronger I as not going to be able to compete at this level. I gain twenty pounds and never looked back. When my baseball career ended I need another challegne. I met a trainer who finally knows what he is doing and the rest is history.
Why I Love It:
The ability to transform your body is the ultimate satisfaction. To me there is nothing more satisfying than leaving the gym with a grea pump knowing you just pushed yourself to the max. You always hear if it was easy everyone would be doing it and that is very true. You not only have to love it but you have to live it everyday. The gym is the ultimate stress relief for me. You can't beat putting on baggy clothes, turning up your ipod and just got lost for a few hours.
How I Stay Motivated:
The motivation comes from the mirror. The way your body transforms is the ultimate in motivation. If you are not changing then you need to go back to the drawing board.
BB Accomplishments:
Placing 2nd place in the super heavy weight category in my first show. The guys in this category had been training for over 10 years and were 10-15 lbs heavier, but it goes to show that it is not the size its the quality and condition of the muscle that counts!

Photo was taken during a mag shoot for the strongest baseball outfield in the country. Glory Days!
Gain muscle and come in heavier at my next competition. Continue to kill my legs and back.
Goal (Long):
Long term goal: To be on stage at a national level show in 2008. I have qualified for nationals this year but I'm not ready. I need to gain. My goal following the July competition is to gain weight. I would like to be able to go on stage at 250lbs or more. For that to happen it takes patience, time and a little cooperation from my back!
Why in the hell do members continue to post their old photos in the new photo page or in the progress page so more people will view their profile only to become "top 6" for a couple days or a few hours. It makes me laugh. What a joke.
It also drives me crazy when members try...
Monday: Chest, Front Deltoids, Biceps and one triceps.
Tuesday: Legs
Wednesday: Back, Rear Deltoids, Triceps and one biceps.
Thursday: OFF
Friday: Total isolation upper body
Saturday: Total isolation lower body with Squats and Dead lifts
Sunday: OFF
Thought you were going to take some time off this year... I was thinking of doing them but might do a show in MASS. Not sure just want to make it till end of summer and see where i am at that point,.
