How I Started:
I had my first child 10 weeks ago and decided that I am going to prove to myself and all the women who told me "your body will never be the same again" that I can achieve a lean & muscular look if I work hard at it! Long ways to go...
Why I Love It:
I love seeing and feeling the results that come from lifting! I just need to seriously focus on learning proper form and eating clean.
How I Stay Motivated:
Ha! Looking in the mirror. My body is a wreck still! I want to prove to myself and those who know me that I am fit rather than walking around with a frumpy "just had a baby" butt!
BB Accomplishments:
None, but I'm starting to get interested in possibly competing after reading some of these profiles...long road ahead! Some of these women on this site are certainly inspirational!

Ughhh! I can't believe I am doing this, but here it is for the world to see. This is my before pic taken 10 weeks postpartum.Haven't started any nutrition program yet and just started get familiar with the gym again.
Ok, this isn't much but my pre-preggers clothes are starting to fit again. Butt is starting to deflate...now I just need to bring it back up again!
To drop body fat and increase lean muscle mass. Learn how to eat better...still not getting it down yet.
Goal (Long):
My long term goal is to achieve that lean and muscular look as those women in the fitness magazines. Just had my body fat tested today by going under the tank and was sad to see that almost a quarter of my body is fat...24.4% to be exact. Goal is to achieve 13-15%.
Good luck with your fitness goals. I know how hard it is to get back in shape after kids (my wife tells me all the time :)
I admire your will to get it done.
I just dropped by to say that you are doing great and to wish you all the best in your quest for fitness.
Keep up the fantastic work and remember to always believe in yourself...you can do it.
Stay strong and all the best.
Hi Veronica; Thanks for the add! You know, I'm not a nutritionist, but you derive 2/3 of your energy from the fat in your body. In other words, when you are working out, you are burning up the fat. Best regards, Scott
