How I Started:
I have always had the desire to workout and keep as fit as possible. I was a very small kid growing up. My freshman year of high school I was 4'9" and weighed 85lbs. I didn't break 100lbs until my senior year of high school and went off to college 5'9" 115lbs. I had a lot of friends that worked out and were a lot bigger than me. I would see pictures of people in Mens Health and on T.V. that I wanted to look like. Needless to say I lacked "motivation". I am now 25 and I realized that I'm not getting any younger and I need to make a change now before its too late. I want to look good when I turn 40.
Why I Love It:
I love the "high" you get from working out. There are times during the workout that I ask myself, "why the hell am I doing this?" but as soon as the workout is over and I'm heading home, I have the desire to turn around and go back for more.
How I Stay Motivated:
I cut out a picture of a guys torso (close to what I wish my body looked like)and I have it taped up at my desk in the den. I wrote inspirational words all over it to give me encouragement and a goal to strive for. I also go to the beach every year for Christmas and I want to be the best looking one in the group when I get there.
BB Accomplishments:
As of right now my biggest accomplishment is that I just completed my first week of training and I actually worked out 6 of 7 days and didn't skip any of the required workouts that I set up for myself. I didn't make excuses like I have in the past.
