How I Started:
I got started training for ski team in high school. During college I watched all the girls around me begin to gain weight rapidly while I watched my portions and kept going to the gym occasionally. I realized that my physique was very much under my control. Instead of gaining weight freshman year, I lost close to 15 pounds.
Why I Love It:
Both the physical and emotional benefits are extremely important to me. I love feeling lean and strong! I get such a tremendous sense of accomplishment when I lift heavier, run faster and farther, and fit into that pair of skinny jeans.
How I Stay Motivated:
After seeing such excellent results, I couldn't ever imagine letting myself gain the fat back.
Oh wow. I weighed 170 lbs during summer of 2007. I don't think I had really internalized how gross I was starting to look then. Now I see that things weren't looking so good... I'm really really glad that I took action shortly before this picture was taken and have kept the weight off ever since ...

Goal (Long):
I've always been a healthy weight, with lean arms and legs and a bit of a belly. It's about time I changed that. I intend to cut down on my carbs, increase my protein intake, and exercise at least 5 days a week, alternating strength training and cardio. I want a toned, strong, curvy body. I want to be proud of my body and possibly compete someday.
This member's goal is to be a strong role model for other women and she has achieved that goal with flying colors! "thatchthecatch" has one of the most beautiful bodies that I've ever seen and I hope that someday I can have a similar one!
I just stopped by to wish you nothing but success as you work towards your fitness goal. Too many people think it can’t be done and so they don't even try but you are proving that with hard work and dedication it can be. Keep up the great work. I look forward to watching your continuing progress. You are a great inspiration to so many others.
Good for you!!! I am doing great! Sticking to my workouts, cardio, yoga, and eating clean! I love fall, and this time of year is just beautiful! Have a fabulous day!
