When I Started:
How I Started:
I started with an ever-loving life’s kick in the pants, and the realization that I was not happy with my whole being. I struggled with my weight on and off for a large portion of my life, and within the past few years, made a concerted effort to feel good on the outside as well as the inside. I work with a various number of pageants and sports teams/fitness competitors, and through their determination and obvious physical excellence, put myself forward on a mission to build the best me, in all aspects.
Why I Love It:
From many different angles, I am actually quite a shy, withdrawn person. Outside of clients, friends and family, I live quite a solitary life. My new adventures into fitness allow me to participate socially, and to overcome certain deep-seated anxieties and shortcomings, which can build upon themselves year after year of life.
How I Stay Motivated:
People here on BodyBuilding.com and the models/contestants I shoot pictures of motivate me greatly. I am not looking to bulk up, but shred or lean up to a nice ‘corded’, ripped body; something to walk proud with, and feel physically on top of the world. Two of the sports teams I shoot for consist of women’s cancer survivors. Unbelievable and amazing results display from people who have been thrown some of life’s greatest challenges.

As very few of you actually ‘know’ me just yet, I have struggled over a large part of my life to build the perfect me. I know there is much more to ‘me’ than the physical aspect, however, with self-confidence issues and a myriad of other hurdles, I look forward to fine tuning this...

Yes ~ I would love to! I've been spending alot of time in Waterton Canyon running prepping for my 1st 1/2 marathon in October. Then in the gym getting ready for Vegas in a few weeks for the Olympia weekend! I am so excited! Let me know when you want to get together ~ I'd love to meet you and chat!

Hey George-thanks for the message! You are so kind to let me know you enjoy the web site! I'm sorry to hear you're dealing w/the motivation aspect for your workouts...I always say "When is the last time you left the gym & said...Dang, I wish I hadn't done that??"...never-try to focus on the feeling that comes afterward...not the feeling before. I've found that helps my motivation level :)
