Background

When I Started: Aug 2007
HOW I STARTED:

I started training while living in Northern Italy. It took no time at all before it became a lifestyle. It motivated me to push harder and lift heavier as I progressed and saw changes occur. As the years passed and I continued training, I went and saw my first bodybuilding show in 2007. I decided to compete in Women's Bodybuilding.

WHY I LOVE IT:

The industry can be a impersonal place to be. You can become distant as you prep for a show. Take your time to meet people. You will meet people from all walks of life. I have found that I have met some of the most interesting people through bodybuilding. I love competing. The dieting, the training, and hopefully inspiring others along the way is what I enjoy. I will continue to be the best I can be and my goal is to always make improvements from each show.

Building Boulders

Last night's shoulder workout did me in!  Arms are tired and I'm glad I have Hammies tonight and then back on Saturday.  



I felt great and hit a new record on my DB Shoulder Presses.  50lb x 8!  

Tomorrow morning I have to take pics for my Coach.  I can't wait to see what adjustments are made.  Then the family and I are off to a weekend getaway! My oldest daughter got someone to cover her work shift for her. So she'll be able to...

Arms

Arms blasted with the guys last night.  Morning cardio is starting to really feel good, and get me up and motivated for the day. My weight is moving up, but looking leaner.  Ya know what that means..Imma growin"!  

We started with bi's and my arms were already feeling fatigued from the warm up.  Towards the second exercise though they were ready to go.  Last week my bi's felt fresh and the weight was easier.  Then once I hit Tri's my arms were so pumped and tired, weights felt heavy.  The complete opposite last night. &nb...

Several years ago, when I decided to compete, I hired my first prep coach.  I was so excited I told several members in my gym about my plans.  I can't remember who I told, but there is only one person that I will always remember.  As I excitedly told him I was going to train to compete in my first bodybuilding show, he looked me up and down.  I'll never forget what he said next.  "You'll never make it as a female bodybuilder."  His words were powerful.
