My prior life wasn't working for me. I was stressed out, I neglected all of my passions, I became very irritable. It was then that I decided to break up with my boyfriend who made it easy for me to be lazy and fat and get started on my dreams! I deserve to be fit in my life so I'm making that happen. I want it bad enough now, there is no looking back.
Why I Love It:
I feel fantastic!!! I want to exercise constantly now because I go into a zone and forget about myself and my problems. I started out slowly- January I made the decision (along with a lot of other life goals). The only time I could work out is 5am so I spent the month of Jan "attempting" to get up that early. It wasn't working and I was sick of myself. I reminded myself that if I don't make any changes, I won't see any changes. That worked and I've been waking up ever since. It's hard, but success requires hard work.
How I Stay Motivated:
I don't give into my excuses. As soon as I overthink things (maybe I should take tonight off), that's when I need to act. I remove temptation. I became vegetarian since I needed a passion (animals) to help me stay focused on the goal. All of this has really improved my willpower and action in other areas of my life too. I feel in control.
BB Accomplishments:
From Jan to March, I've lost 15lbs by exercising at least 3x a week and eating healthy/vegetarian.
As of March 17, I've started the Body for Life challenge. I've restricted my diet, began exercising 6x a week (no exceptions!) and really getting into the groove. I'm excited to see the improvements to my body!

My short term goal is to finish the Body for Life challenge, losing 27.5 lbs and slimming down to 19% body fat by June 16, 2008.
Goal (Long):
- Finish the Body for Life challenge by June 16, 2008.
- Start two more BFL challenges this year.
- Weigh 145 lbs by September 2008.
- Cut to 16% body fat by September 2008.
I am finally on my way to having the best body of my life. I am doing it and I love it the way I feel.
Some chubbies hate chaffed legs, for others its their bellies. Ask me, and I'll make it known that I hate wings! Two years ago when my xbf and I began a habit of "2nd dinners", I suddenly noticed that I had grown wings. See diagram.
I'm proud to announce today that I am decreasing...
I wish you much luck...I just moved and started a job so I think I may not meet the June 16th goal..but lets try!! I have over 20 more lbs to loose before then..not gonna happen!! But I can dream right!
Keep going and keep believing. My wife and I both had body transformations following the Body for Life program and you are well on your way. Don't let anything stop you now. You can do whatever you set your mind to do!
Okay I finally gave in because I was turning evil...haha I mean really evil..I was getting mad when my little 2 1/2 year old was having juice and sweets and cookies..lol not good not good! So I am giving myself little treats throughout the week..not every day but once in awhile..how are you doing?..I lost 4 more lbs..almost in the 160's now!! Woohoo!!
Well like I said the camera must be awesome for removing the 30lbs I need to loose..cause its there..for sure..I am doing just ok..I have started my no sugar challenge and so far I am doing ok..but it has only been 3 days..so well see. Does wine count..I hope not?
