Background

When I Started: Jan 2012
HOW I STARTED:

Ive been in and out of gyms all most of life, from hs on Ive tried to stay in desent shape. Ive been in rodeo and horse related carriers pretty much all my life, but now (since Ive hit 50) Ive kinda lowed down and dont want to fall into the shape ive seen so many other people get into. I am gonna strive to get and stay in the best shape and build I can get to.

WHY I LOVE IT:

The feeling of being in good shape at my age.I refuse to be like the people who allow there health to get out of control under the excuss that at thier age.....blah blah....One of my goals is to be in the best shape Ive ever been in, from this point on!!

Well.... I didnt do legs and traps today.I know there is no good excuse but, 5 tornadoes in the area, 4 of them between me and the gym is as good a reason as I can think of.NOT a good day to be around here. Thank God no one was hurt bad, but alot of property damage.  Just another reason why I hate Indiana so much.   Stepping up the job search as of tomorrow!!!

First day back in the gym.  Felt Good...I gotta work on my mental game, kick this depression outa my head. BUT  there aint anything in my way now....So Its Balls to the wall now...I like this gym.I was there from noon til 2:30 and only had 2 people there and they where one the treads....

Well,  I found a nice  small quiet gym....So Im back at in as of Monday. Doing 30 high intense Cardio every morning..and I ll be training 5 days..I have lots of time to kill  :(


Ill post more as I get back in the swing.Any body know a routine for a broken heart?

Rocketgirl3 ....Broken hearts are difficult, but sometimes you can use them to fuel your motivation to build yourself back up. Use this time to take that energy you were giving to her and give it back to yourself. It's hard to remember sometimes, but you deserve your attention too, if that make sense??? Feb 25, 2012 12:40pm

Doc.Happy dogs certainly add a lot to life! hence the reason that i have six of them :) tomorrow is going to be a long day for me. on the road all day. first stop is 2 bulls to semen test and then on to douglas 130 miles away to do a bunch of random horse work than back to willcox and bonita to do a cryptorchid castration and then a bunch of teeth work and x rays at a thoroughbred farm. im exhausted already! Doc.Happy we get some bad prolapses around here! i HATE them! especially when they come in all covered in maggots and the size of a basketball and about as hard! yuck! when i was preg checking in nogales a few weeks ago their cows had a lot of ticks. in generally we dont see them on horses here and not often on the cows, mostly dogs. the horses will get the cow ticks in their ears though, poor bastards as that has to suck!! nice pic in your gallery! a man, his horse and his dog! Doc.Happy hahaha i drive a one ton chevy diesel crew cab with a full porta vet box in the back. im old school too, i guess. cant even imagine using a car or SUV but i see many many of them that do. i have ranches where i have to drive 50+ miles of hard dirt road to get to so i need something that can handle it. have a great day! Doc.Happy LOL big calves are great on the hoof, not so great on the foot :D one more big day of semen testing and then i think i am done for the most part other than a few private sellers here and there. im just hoping for lots of chute help so things go smoothly. the last time i went to this ranch it was a disaster! bulls jumping out and not enough cowboys! Rocketgirl3 I had to quit the program temporarily )-: I moved and started a new college the day after I moved, so despite my best interest things were just too hectic. I purchased a set of dumbbells and a body ball and just today started the 90 day Supreme workout which kicks ass lol. How you doing? Jan 25, 2012 10:49pm
