Wow, where do I begin...well, I guess I'd have to thank a bad break-up for this (lol). Once I was single I took a really good look at myself and didn't like what I saw. I was never obese but I was in terrible shape, had an extra unnecessary 30 lbs. on me and my eating habits were outrageous...overnight, I just started cutting back on what I ate and so immediate results. I lost the 30 lbs. but still felt out of shape...Enter my brother and the wonderful world of weight training. Under his guidance I learned about exercises and form and that's all it took! I was hooked from that moment on! I'm currently in the process of fine tuning my physique by being a member of Fitness Expert, Cathy Savage's S.O.S. program.
Why I Love It:
I love the way I feel about myself as a result.
How I Stay Motivated:
Magazines like Oxygen, Muscle and Fitness Hers and American Curves. I hope to be featured in one, if not all of them one day! HOLLAH!!!
BB Accomplishments:
Having people tell me that I inspire them to eat healthy and go to the gym. There's no other feeling like it!

Starting from SCRATCH!!! Getting ready for 2008 INBF's WORLDS Championships - 11/08/08
Goal (Long):
I'd like to look stage worthy. I placed 2nd at my last show last year and completely lost my mind diet-wise, lol. Can you say food whore!!! Anyhoot, it's now time for damage control and to get back on the ball for competition season. I'm doing 1 show this year, INBF's biggest show at that, and I'd like to see if I can maintain or improve my placing among a larger group of competitors.
Do you tell your friends and/or family about your fitness goals?
Yes
Why or why not?
With everybody knowing, they help keep me in check by watching what I eat and reminding me to workout :-)

What tips would you give to others to help them stay motivated over the long-term?
Tell everyone what you're trying to do. You'll be surprised at how many people are willing to help you stay the course and how many people you'll also motivate to get in shape.

Hi iceladavid everything is going well thank you for asking. I have been working alot of overtime at the jail I have no choice it is mandatory. I hope that you are doing well yourself.I also just started in a martial art school for MMA for some extra self defence for myself and the job,it is all the training that the UFC and WEC fighter do.The job also push back the the SRT training to JAN 09.

Stay with it Icela. I read u were maximizing cardio...hopefully the diet is coming along & giving good results. I'm doing the same with legs, cardio & abs to give me a more solid base. All the best...you're an excellent athlete & example.
You look great! Any tips for me? I want to lose fat and built lean muscle. I tried BCAAs but they gave me heart palpitations. Didn't expect that at all. I took 1 pill...1000mg.
Things are good. I'm trying to step it up too. I'm about 36 days till I go home for R&R and I gotta bulk up sommore and shred. Stay on da grind cause you looking incredible. Good luck and great workouts to ya!
