Background
I started out with very little information on training and dieting at the age of 17. I would perform press ups and sit ups in my room and lift anything around the house that could be used to do arm curls like a bar stool... silly I know but this at the time was the only thing I knew about training and thought it would get me bigger. Later on at the age of 18 I joined a leisure center which had a gym with good size and fair amount of equipment it was then I started training with a man in his forties who had a massive build not so much muscular but strong and could bench ridiculous amounts of weight, as I on the other hand was strong in some exercise but really struggled with heavy compound moves I also was not eating enough a day to have the energy to improve on my lifts or my size not even knowing nothing about protein! Like with any gym if you become a regular in any place like this people remember your face and get talking to you, giving you information some good some bad. Later on in life I joined another gym, a gym I am at to this day, one that has loads of training equipment and plenty of space and verity of different machines. These days I train with a friend from work who is very strong and has a good build and we motivate each other which helps out so much I can tell you. We also have a great deal of knowledge on dieting and eating the right foods and at the right time which really helps out as I wished I knew as much as I do now than I did back then when I was 17. But its a journey for me one that hasnt gone to waste and everyday I feel fitter and more healthier and stronger now to this day I can say I am glad I have had the motivation to stick with it for so long and will continue to learn and stay in shape for the rest of my life.
In your mind, you perceive this image in your head, and once you have that image/idea stuck in your head, you work on it day in and day out. And during this very long process, when you look at the mirror, you are so impressed because what you see now surpasses what your mind thought it would create in the beginning...and BAM! There's your masterpiece!
