My first blog stated that this is the beginning.
I've had lots of beginnings.
3 years ago I weighed close to 300 lbs. And started a slow prossess of trying to loose weight. I wasn't as dedicated as I am now but I knew I had to do something.

Doing this on my own. Initially started with the program "BFL." Now I've changed up my workouts to tailor my goals. What really started me on the right track to getting healthier is seeing my grandma in the hospital with high blood pressure, gout (severe form of arthritis), and a hip replacement. I looked in the mirror and wondered how I ever let myself get so unhealthy (that was Dec 05. Does your wife have a 'why' for getting healthier? She has to find something that motivates her.
