I was always active growing up. I played basketball and softball in middle school and then took dance and aerobics in high school. In my twenties I took karate and worked at my local gym so it was easy to stay in shape.
Why I Love It:
My entire being is better when I work out. My mental state is much more positive and I have the engergy to do more things in my day.
How I Stay Motivated:
Bodybuilding.com is great motivation for me. I love the before and after photos!

i-screamchanged Weight from 175 lbs. to 172 lbs., a 3 lb. loss in 14 days
Over the last few years I've gained 40 pounds. I didn't have a baby or get injured, I just stopped working out and got fat. I tried the "easy way" to lose weight by taking fat burners, detox diets, and flat out starving myself. I'm ready now to do it the old fashion way...diet and exercise. I will be starting P90X for my workout routine along with walks outside. My diet will be based off of what my personal trainer made for me almost a year ago...let's see if I can do it this time. This will be the last "before pic" I'll ever take since this is about the 5th time I've attempted to lose weight.
Day one of P90X. Chest and Back and Ab ripper. I had to do all of the pushups on my knees and I used resistance bands instead of doing pull ups. My goal is to be able to do one pull up on my own. It doesnt sound like much but I've never been able to do a pull up in my life. Ab...
