How I Started:
Occupation: Currently a firefighter but also a pre-med student (soon-to-be doc).
I've been working out off and on since high school for various sports. I didn't get serious with bodybuilding until 1997 when I was deployed during the Kosovo War in Bosnia and met a bodybuilder who showed me steps. I put on some size, done my first show and was addicted since then.
Why I Love It:
I love bodybuilding because it's fun and I enjoy making my body look better and better. Also, I like the overall health benefits of working out probably more than anything. It's a way of life.
How I Stay Motivated:
I ask myself that same question but watching bodybuilding videos and reading loads of magazines help. Also, when people compliment me it gives me that extra bit of encouragement to stay motivated and keep working harder and stay focused but I mainly do it for myself.
BB Accomplishments:
I was and still want to complete as a competetive bodybuilder. I came in first place for my weight class (middle weight) for 2 shows and I took an overall for my third show. I want to place in the top 3 at a national level show. I know it will take some serious training but I wouldn't be here if I wasn't serious.

First off, I hate this pic because I was letting myself get a bit too relaxed.
I've been training my ass off for 3 months hardcore after a 2+ year lay off due to my accident. It's difficult but I'm working hard.
Put on quality eye pleasing lean mass. Step out of the shadows of my previous achievments and constantly set new standards while breaking old records for myself...pretty much become a 'beast'.
Goal (Long):
My ultimate goal is to complete at the National's and make the top 5, perferable the top 3. It's going to be extra difficult for me since I'm recovering from a life changing accident and I'm limited because of multiple injuries;however, I will work extra hard to overcome my weaknesses. I have the potential to do really well. Now all I have to do is figure out how I can accomplish that goal.
I love setting goals, especially once they are accomplished. I have achieved my personal short term goal of gaining some quality lean mass while reducing body fat. It seems like forever since I've been doing this but I have made record results in four months. What makes it...
Hey! I feel a bit stagnet, but I am working up for the surge. I need to kick myself in my own rear, and work a bit harder! Good to hear your doing well!
Hey there - thanks for your comment - I commented back..then realised I'd somehow just commented back to myself! Ahh the trials of being new to bodyspace :) Take it easy - keep up the awesome training!
You all are never far from my mind! My favorite cousin is a marine- he will be doing his 2 tour in Iraq in January. He did get lucky enough to come home for the holiday. I have a huge respect for all those who choose this difficult path. It is awe-inspiring and heart tearing. Thank you!
