When I Started:

How I Started:
In high school I played sports - soccer and basketball. During my senior year I was seeing a guy who was really fit and I joined his gym so we could workout together. I never stopped working out and I married the guy! A few years later, while home in bed sick, I saw a fitness competition on television and that is when I fell in love with bodybuilding.
Why I Love It:
I love feeling strong. I love being healthy. I love being challenged. I love looking and feeling amazing!
How I Stay Motivated:
I've watched so many loved ones struggle with their weight and health issues. I want to set the best example that I can for my children and live life to the fullest!
BB Accomplishments:
Competing in the 2003 NPC Vancouver Classic was a huge accomplishment! Non-bodybuilding accomplishments include running the Hood to Coast relay three times in the past 5 years, I ran my first ever Half-Marathon in July 2007 and over the years have regularly participated in fun runs.

What type of nutrition plan are you currently following? Give full details.
I am currently eating about an 80% vegan diet. I've been dairy free since mid-March and gave up eggs the end of July. My diet is always evolving and I really enjoy the process of learning more about nutrition and fueling my body with the highest quality foods. It is very challenging to follow the vegan diet completely, as there is always the possibility of dairy or eggs lurking in unsuspecting foods, but I try. I eat well and I'm not wasting away!I am currently eating about an 80% vegan diet. I've been dairy free since mid-March and gave up eggs the end of July. I've never been one who is scared to experiment with my diet. That said, the past few days I have been on a raw food kick. Lots of salad, raw nuts and avocado's, juices...this mornings breakfast was kale/grapefruit juice! I've always been drawn to the idea of raw foods, just like I'm drawn...

No prob :o)...YES, some are definitely better than others!! I was so tired this eve & wanted to just come home, take a shower, & go to sleep, BUT I got down in that basement & worked out :o). I'm glad I did :-). We definitely have to keep each other encouraged.
Don't get discouraged. I was pretty disgusted when i saw my pics as well. I plan to just stay focused so that when i do put progress pics up i WILL actually see progress :o). Stay focused miss lady!
Thank you so much for the add Hyla !!! :) I just got that shirt! I also have Green and Black ones !!! :) I wear theme wane I workout! Hey! I also hope you've been having a Great weekend Hon !!! :)
The Yoga I have tought is a little bit of every thing, for 'gym goers" who are beginners and intermediate. It depends on the day and the "croud" if they are "newbies" or not. I want to get ALL pple interested and let them know ANY one of any size and fitness level can do yoga...... also it CAN be challenging too for those who have done it for years, or pple who want more of a challenge.
Just depends.
Thanks for asking. You look great! How you doing? keep up the great work!
Hey! I went to The Canadian School of Natural Nutrition (it was a one year program). If you're in Canada I highly recommend the school but if not I'm thinking there must be something equivalent in the US. I'm also a PT so am using it in conjuction with that....I love it! Good luck. If you have any other questions....please let me know :)
