I sat down one day with an old friend and we talked about how if we did nothing, a year would pass and we'd be sitting and saying how frustrated we were all over again about our weight. We decided to support each other, and I took it full speed.
I started by walking with my coworkers on breaks. Then I started using my machine at home. I cut down on sodas and other junk. Two months later, after seeing results, I joined a gym and started seeing a trainer.
Why I Love It:
Can't get enough of the PUMP! It is challenging, relaxing, and has reachable goals. The rewards are priceless.
How I Stay Motivated:
I visit bodybuilding.com weekly transformations. I stay in touch with my nutrition coach and my trainer. I enjoy listening to others' success stories.
I bared everything for you on March 3rd. Big deal for me to reveal my abdomen. Hope not to gross you out, but I'm sure the continuous pics with the same bikini will improve as we get closer to winter. This will keep me on my toes!

BY END OF 2007
Lose 30lbs of fat. Check bodyfat percentage at Nov 1st, Dec 1st.
BY FEBRUARY 1, 2008
Be at 18% bodyfat or below and ready for tummy tuck.
FIRST QUARTER 2008
Have tummy tuck and breast lift.
FIRST QUARTER 2009
Be totally healed from surgery and ready to train for next 6 months, not sure what I want my stats to be yet.
THIRD QUARTER 2009
Be in my first figure competition.
Okay, so yesterday I was so happy to see 1 pound down, right? Well this morning....2 pounds down?!?! This MUST be WATER! I also have been really good at taking my thyroid pill...yes another challenge to overcome at times - so maybe that contributed to this? Either way, I'm just thrilled...
