I started working out Freshman year of High school. However, I didn't have the right knowledge about working out. I'd spend 4 hours in the gym all those years and would always wonder why I didn't achieve any results. Last year, my freshman year at University of Houston was when I started a 5x5 workout. I gained 15 pounds within 5 months. However, my overall athleticism decreased because I never focused on cardio, sprints, etc. It's a new chapter in my life story. My new goal is to be a part of the UofH Football Team and that is what I'm striving for this year. IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING!
Why I Love It:
I love working out because not only does it help me get to my future goals, it's a stress reliever. It's a way to let out any energy I got pent up inside. I feel so accomplished when I walk out of the gym knowing that each day I did my best to perform than the last.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by keeping my end goals in mind, watching videos that pump me up such as football videos, bball videos, etc.
Damn, it's been awhile since I last posted. I've been busy doing WORK! Sunday was my last day of my 6-week 5x5 program. I see my gains both on my lifting stats and physically. As far as cutting goes though, I need to start adding cardio and mixing in higher reps in my workouts. My squat...
