How I Started:
For the last several years I have been over weight. In October 2006 after a check up my Dr. put me on a low calorie, high protein diet. My blood pressure was 146/98 and my cholesterol was over 240. It was either change my way of eating and start exercising or become a type 2 Diabetic or worse yet die of a heart attack. I started with a Personal Trainer on November 1st 2006 and worked with her for 18 weeks training on weights and taking Cardio classes. I weight trained once a week and did cardio 2 times a week. Now I'm weight training 3-4 times a week and do one class of cardio.
Why I Love It:
I love going to the gym, I've come a long way since November 2006. I get exhausted after each workout, but it's a good exhaustion. I'm addicted!
How I Stay Motivated:
I look at a picture of me on vacation of August 2006 and how big I was, that motivates me to continue my workouts. And all the women I see on this website remind me that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
BB Accomplishments:
I'm loving the way that my leggs are turning out, but my biggest accomplishment will be when my abs start looking better. I hate ab work, but I have to do it. I have about 45% more to go before my 4 or 6 pack comes in. I'll take what ever I can get.

Goal (Long):
Since I was 20 years old I've always wanted to sculpt my body and compete. But my life changed and I was not able to pursue that goal. I've been over weight for several years. Since November of 2006, I have lost 60 lbs. with 10 lbs. to go. Now I'm transfroming my body and would like to compete in the next couple of years to finish my goal that I started when I was 20.
