Background

When I Started: Apr 1997
HOW I STARTED:

I started working out right after I finished playing ball in college.

WHY I LOVE IT:

Bodybuilding has gave the motivation and confidence to do whatever I wanted to in life so far. After I started I went back to school and finished my teaching degree and then started coaching, and then finised graduate school with a master's degree in physical education.

My Sancturary!

I workout at home. I've worked out at commercial gym and at schools, but for me I just love to be able to go into my own personal space and shut out the rest of the world for an hour or so and just go  hard and train.  I'm  a teacher and work all day for not very much money, and the bills keep pilling up. The stress from bills and student loans stop at the door to my gym.

Here are some pictures of my home gym. I've been working out for about 15 years mostly at home. I recently built a new room on my house for my gym.  I love the convience and peace.

Progress and changes

This is my 4th week on the Labrada 12 week lean body program. It is going very well. I've been out of the gym on a consistent basis for a couple years now. I started coaching baseball in 2008 and the first year I was still able to get in my workouts fairly regularly. After that I started grad school along with coaching/ teaching and it was very hard to get inside a gym. 


I've made a decision this year to cut back on coaching baseball for better or worse and spend more time at home taking care of my mother. I've also been working on getting into fitness and personal traini
